Peach Dessert

Ingredients

  • 4 cups butter or margarine
  • 8 cups all-purpose flour
  • 8 cups granulated sugar
  • 16 teaspoons baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 6 cups milk
  • 2 gallons canned peaches

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients except peaches.
  2. Pour into bottom of 2 LARGE pans.
  3. Pour 1 gallon of peaches per pan, juice and all, on top.
  4. Bake at 400 degrees F for 45 to 60 minutes.
  5. Serve chilled, topped with whipping cream or serve warm with ice cream if desired.
