Chocolate Mousse Brownie Dessert


Treat yourself to velvety chocolate mousse baked into rich, chewy brownies. It's a dessert easy enough for everyday yet elegant enough for guests.


Chocolate Mousse Brownie

Chocolate Whipped Cream


  1. Chocolate Mousse Brownie: Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease bottom only of a 13 x 9-inch pan or 10 x 3-inch springform pan.
  2. Stir brownie mix, chocolate syrup, water, oil and 2 eggs in medium bowl until well blended. Spread batter in pan.
  3. Heat whipping cream and chocolate chips in 2-quart saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth; cool slightly.
  4. Beat 3 eggs and the sugar with electric mixer on medium speed until foamy; stir into cream-chocolate mixture. Pour evenly over batter.
  5. Bake rectangular pan about 45 minutes, springform pan about 1 hour 5 minutes, or until topping is set.
  6. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
  7. Serve at room temperature, or cover tightly and refrigerate until chilled.
  8. Serve with Chocolate Whipped Cream.
  9. Store any remaining dessert tightly covered.
  10. Chocolate Whipped Cream: Beat all ingredients in chilled small bowl with electric mixer on high speed until soft peaks form.
