Strawberry Chiffon Squares

Instructions

  1. Combine crumbs and butter and pat firmly into a 13 x 9- inch pan.
  2. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
  3. Stir gelatin mixture into sweetened condensed milk, lemon juice, strawberries and marshmallows.
  4. Fold in whipped cream.
  5. Pour over crumb crust.
  6. Chill until set.
  7. Cut into squares.


Variation: Use lime gelatine and substitute a 14 ounce can of crushed pineapple (drained) for the strawberries.
