Caramel Dumplings


The caramel sauce is delicious!





  1. Dumplings: Mix flour and butter until coarsely mixed.
  2. Add sugar, milk and vanilla extract; stir well. Set aside.
  3. Sauce: Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Stir constantly until boiling. Reduce heat.
  4. Drop tablespoons of dumpling dough into simmering sauce. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
