Cherry Coke Ice Cream



  • 2 cups cherry coke
  • 1 dash salt
  • 2 (12 ounce) cans evaporated milk
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 pint whipping cream
  • 1 jar maraschino cherries, drained and chopped
  • Milk, as needed, to fill freezer


  1. Mix all of the ingredients together, except for the milk, and pour into a 4- or 5-quart ice cream freezer.
  2. Add milk to reach the fill line.
  3. Freeze according to freezer manufacturer's instructions.
