Caramel Dumpling Pudding
Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 1/3 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Boil brown sugar, water and butter for about 3 to 4 minutes.
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, butter and milk. Drop dough by tablespoons into the hot syrup. Cook uncovered for a few minutes, then cover and finish cooking over low heat as they burn easily.
- Serve warm with cream.
