Cinnamon Pudding
Yield: about 18 servings
Ingredients
- 3 cups brown sugar
- 2 1/4 cups cold water
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 3 scant cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Mix brown sugar, cold water and 3 tablespoons butter together and bring to a boil. This is the syrup mixture.
- Mix sugar, flour, baking powder and cinnamon together. Add 3 tablespoons butter and milk.
- Pour this dough mixture into a 13 x 9 inch pan and put syrup on top. Sprinkle with nuts, if desired.
- Bake for 45 minutes.
