Brandied Strawberry Sauce
- 2 (10 ounce) packages frozen, sliced strawberries
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons brandy or
- In saucepan blend strawberries, sugar, cornstarch and lemon juice. Cook over
medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and clear.
- Cool slightly; stir
- Chill before serving.
Makes about 2 1/2 cups.
