Use Butterscotch Sauce on ice cream, apple pie and various other desserts.
- 4 tablespoons sweet butter, diced
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 2/3 cup milk
- Heat butter, sugar and syrup in a heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring, until
the sugar has dissolved. Bring to a boil and boil until the temperature reaches about 240 degrees F.
- Cool slightly, then stir in the milk and let cool completely.
