Hard Sauce
Serve cold with steamed puddings or on apple pie.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 2 tablespoons vanilla extract, cognac or rum
Instructions
- Cream butter until soft.
- Add confectioners' sugar a little at a time, then add vanilla extract, cognac or rum, stirring until smooth.
