Praline Sauce


This is good over ice cream.


  • 1 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 3 tablespoons boiling water
  • 2 teaspoons butter


  1. Combine sugar, nuts, boiling water and butter in small saucepan and bring to a rolling boil.
  2. Remove from heat and cool.
  3. Cover and refrigerate.
