Dill Drop Biscuits


  • 1 cup unbleached flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dill
  • 1/2 cup low-fat buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup canola oil


  1. Heat the oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Place the dry ingredients in a medium bowl.
  3. Add the buttermilk and oil and stir just enough to moisten the dry ingredients.
  4. Drop tablespoonsful of batter onto a nonstick baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
  5. Serve hot.
