Cream Cheese Frosting


  • 1 1/2 cups light cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons margarine, softened
  • 14 to 16 packets Equal
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons skim milk to thin frosting


  1. Beat together cream cheese and margarine. Stir in sweetener and milk until mixture is moistened. Beat until smooth and spread on cake.

Yield: enough frosting for 2 (9-inch) round cake layers
