Chocolate Fudge Easter Eggs

Ingredients

  • 1/4 pound butter, melted
  • 2 (3 5/8 ounce) boxes chocolate pudding mix
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 pound confectioners' sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces dipping chocolate

Instructions

  1. Combine butter, pudding mix and milk. Bring to boiling and simmer 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  2. Remove from heat.
  3. Add sugar and vanilla extract; stir until smooth. When cool enough to handle, shape into eggs and place on wax paper-lined tray.
  4. Chill until firm.
  5. Melt chocolate; dip cooled eggs.
  6. Place on wax paper.
  7. Let stand until coating hardens.
