Lacy Candy Baskets
Everyone will be impressed by these lacy chocolate and candy baskets.
Equipment
- Balloons
- Several sheets newspaper
Ingredients
- Candy or chocolate melts
Instructions
- Inflate the balloon to make about a 5- or 6-inch round and tie off.
- Spread newspaper out over work surface and melt candy in microwave for about 45 seconds. Then drizzle melted candy quickly over the bottom half of the balloon with a spoon. Coat with one color at a time and allow to chill in the refrigerator ten minutes between coats (use a large plastic cup to hold the balloon).
- When finished basket is set, gently deflate the balloon and fill the basket with fruit, ice cream or Easter treats.
