White Chocolate Coconut Nests
Yield: 6 regular nests or 18 small nests
Ingredients
- 1 (11 ounce) package white chocolate chips
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 2 cups chow mein noodles
- 1 cup shredded sweetened coconut
- 3 1/2 ounces jelly beans, assorted fruit flavors
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Trace six 3 1/2-inch circles on parchment. Set aside.
- Melt chocolate chips in the top of a double boiler over simmering water.
- Add vegetable oil and stir until smooth.
- Add chow mein noodles and coconut and stir until well mixed.
- Cool mixture slightly.
- Using your hands, shape mixture into six nests using outlines as guide.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes until firm.
- Fill with jelly beans.
- Place in grass around egg cake.
Notes
To make small nests, trace 1-inch circles on paper.
