Cinnamon Apple Dump Cake



  • 2 (21 ounce) cans apple pie filling
  • 1 box spice cake mix, divided
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 sticks butter, melted


  1. Heat oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. Place ingredients in 9 x 13-inch pan in this order: pie filling, half the dry cake mix, cinnamon, pecans and remaining cake mix. Drizzle evenly with butter or cover the top with slices of butter.
  3. Bake, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
  4. Lower heat to 350 degrees F, and bake for 30 to 35 minutes more.
