Lemon Broiled Halibut


  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup unsalted (sweet) butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon sage
  • 3 pounds halibut


  1. Combine lemon juice, butter and sage. Pour over fish. Marinate in refrigerator at least 1 hour.
  2. Remove fish from marinade, reserving marinade. Broil fish until it flakes easily when tested with fork. Brush occasionally with marinade.

Yield: 6 servings
