Mandarin Orange Dessert
- 1 (11 ounce) can Mandarin oranges
- 1 (6 ounce) box orange Jell-O
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 pint (2 cups) orange sherbet
- Drain oranges, reserving syrup. Add water to syrup to make 1 cup.
- Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water. Add measured liquid. Add sherbet by spoonsful, stirring until melted. Chill until slightly thickened.
- Stir in oranges.
- Chill until set, about 1 hour.
Yield: about 5 cups (8 servings)
