Mandarin Orange Dessert



  • 1 (11 ounce) can Mandarin oranges
  • 1 (6 ounce) box orange Jell-O
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 pint (2 cups) orange sherbet


  1. Drain oranges, reserving syrup. Add water to syrup to make 1 cup.
  2. Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water. Add measured liquid. Add sherbet by spoonsful, stirring until melted. Chill until slightly thickened.
  3. Stir in oranges.
  4. Chill until set, about 1 hour.

Yield: about 5 cups (8 servings)
