Easy Peanut Butter Cookies
Four ingredients make these delicious peanut butter cookies.
Ingredients
- Nonstick cooking spray
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar*
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray two baking sheets with cooking spray; set aside.
- Stir together peanut butter, sugar, egg and vanilla extract in a medium bowl until well blended. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto baking sheets. Using a fork, press to make a crisscross pattern on top of each cookie.
- Bake for 12 to 14 minutes or until lightly browned, rotating pans halfway through baking time.
- Let stand for 1 minute on baking sheets.
- Transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
* You can use half brown sugar and half granulated sugar. Be sure to pack the brown sugar.
When using nonstick cookie sheets, I have found that using cooking spray is not necessary.
It is difficult to make the crisscross pattern with a fork. You may want to sprinkle a little sugar on top of the cookies to help the process, or just leave off the crisscross pattern entirely.
