Hash Brown Potato Casserole
Ingredients

- 1 (2 pound) package frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Topping
- 1 cup crushed cornflakes (or Ritz crackers)
- 1/2 cup melted butter
Instructions
- Heat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Mix hash browns, cream of chicken soup, Cheddar cheese, sour cream, butter, onion, salt, and pepper together in a bowl. Arrange in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle crushed cornflakes or Ritz crackers on top. Drizzle butter over the top.
- Bake until the sauce is bubbly and the top is golden brown, 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
