- 1 cup butter, melted
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- Blanched almonds

- Combine butter, flour, and sugar, working all together until the mixture can
be made into small cakes.
- Press a blanched almond into the center of each.
- Bake in a slow oven (250 degrees F) until cakes are baked but not browned.
Yield: 2 dozen or more cakes, according to size
