Toffee Fondue

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups dark brown sugar
  • 1 cup white corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a bowl over a pan of hot water, and add all the other ingredients except the vanilla extract. Stir until thick, then add the vanilla extract.
  2. Place in a fondue pot to keep warm, and serve with pieces of apples and pears to dip.
