Millet and Sweet White Rice Flour Waffles
Ingredients
Flour-Milk Mixture
- 1 cup millet flour
- 3/4 cup sweet white rice flour
- 1 1/2 cups skim milk or milk substitute
Add-in
- 2 eggs or 1 tablespoon egg replacer and 4 tablespoons warm water, well mixed
- 2 tablespoons Gerber’s baby applesauce
- 2 teaspoons aluminum free baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Mix millet flour, sweet white rice flour and milk. Refrigerate for 12 to 48 hours.
- When ready to make waffles add the add in ingredients.
- Stir well and pour 1/4 cup of batter per waffle square.
- Bake for 5 minutes in waffle iron.
