Wheat-Free Waffles
Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup water
- 4 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup Amaranth flour
- 1/4 cup brown rice flour
- 1/4 cup glutinous rice flour
- 1/3 cup arrowroot powder
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
Instructions
- Heat waffle iron.
- Mix dry ingredients together. Mix wet ingredients together in separate bowl.
- Fold wet ingredients into dry, stirring minimally. A few lumps are alright. Pour onto hot waffle iron, covering well. Close cover and do not open until very little steam is coming out the sides.
- Serve hot with vegan margarine and maple syrup or your favorite topping.
