7-Up Basting Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup 7-Up
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Dash of cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Blend ingredients in a saucepan and heat just until simmering. Remove from heat.
  2. Baste poultry or fish every 15 minutes during broiling or baking period.

Makes 1 1/2 cups sauce.
