Monster Mouths

Use Bisquick® Original baking mix, Betty Crocker® Fruit Roll-Ups® chewy fruit snack rolls and raisins to make these creative biscuits. Perfect Halloween treat ready in 30 minutes.


  • 2 1/4 cups Bisquick™ Original baking mix
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 container (2.25 ounces) red colored sugar ( 1/4 cup)
  • Betty Crocker™ Fruit Roll-Ups® chewy fruit snack rolls (from 5-ounce package)
  • 2/3 cup yogurt-covered raisins


  1. Heat oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. Stir baking mix and 2/3 cup milk until soft dough forms. Turn dough onto surface dusted with baking mix; gently roll in baking mix to coat. Shape into ball; knead 10 times.
  3. Roll dough 1/2 inch thick. Cut with 2 1/2-inch round cutter. Roll edges of biscuits in 3 tablespoons milk, then roll in colored sugar.
  4. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown.
  6. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
  7. Cool completely.

Split biscuits three-fourths of the way through with sharp knife. Cut 8 tongue shapes, about 3x1 inch, from fruit rolls. Place each tongue on center of biscuit bottom, letting tongue hang out of biscuit. Stand raisins between biscuit halves for teeth.

Raisins or miniature marshmallows can be used instead of the yogurt-covered raisins.

For even browning of biscuits, place the cookie sheet in the center of the middle oven rack.
