Black Spiders (Haystacks)



  • 1 (12 ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 can chow mein noodles
  • 1 cup lightly salted dry roasted peanuts, coarsely chopped


  1. In top of double boiler, melt chips.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in noodles and nuts.
  3. Drop by teaspoonful into lightly greased or paper-lined miniature muffin cups.
  4. Set in refrigerator until set (about 20 minutes).
