Pineapple Jam

Pineapple Jam


  • 1 pineapple
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 limes


  1. Cut pineapple into large chunks and discard the peel and core. (How to Cut a Pineapple)
  2. Put pineapple chunks in a food processor fitted with a steel blade. Process for several minutes until smooth.
  3. Squeeze the juice from the limes into the Instant Pot. Add the pineapple puree and sugar to the IP. Close the lid and turn the valve to Sealing position. Press the "Pressure Cook" or "Manual" button and set the time for 10 minutes on High pressure.
  4. When the IP is done cooking, quick release (QR) the steam.
  5. Press the Saute button on the IP and set the time to 15 minutes. Let the pineapple jam cook, stirring periodically, until thickened (about 10 minutes).
