Ranch Chicken
Does it get any more family-friendly, weeknight-ready than Ranch Chicken? Prepared in the Instant Pot with McCormick Instant Pot Ranch Chicken Seasoning Mix and a few simple ingredients, this cheesy, savory meal is on the table in just 30 minutes.

Instructions are given for both the Instant Pot® and slow cooker.
Equipment
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 (8 ounce) container whipped cream cheese
- 1 package McCormick® Instant Pot® Ranch Chicken Seasoning Mix
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 4 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
Instructions
Instant Pot
- Spray pot with nonstick cooking spray. Place water and chicken in pot. Dollop cream cheese evenly over chicken. Sprinkle Seasoning Mix over top. Close lid. Set Valve to Seal.
- Set to cook 20 minutes on MEAT/STEW function or until chicken is cooked through. When done, quick-release the pressure. Open the lid once pressure inside the pot is completely released. (Check manufacturer’s manual for safe operating directions.)
- Remove chicken to large bowl. Shred using 2 forks. Whisk sauce mixture in pot until smooth. Return chicken to pot. Stir in cheese. Sprinkle with bacon and green onions to serve.
- Serve over cooked pasta or rice, or use as a filling for sandwiches or wraps.
Slow Cooker
- Place water and chicken in slow cooker. Dollop cream cheese evenly over chicken. Sprinkle Seasoning Mix over top. Cover.
- Cook for 6 hours on LOW or for 3 hours on HIGH.
- Remove chicken to large bowl. Shred using 2 forks. Whisk sauce mixture until smooth. Return chicken to slow cooker; stir in cheese. Sprinkle with bacon and green onions to serve.
- Serve over cooked pasta or rice, or use as a filling for sandwiches or wraps.
