Roast Beef Recipes
Foil-Baked Pot Roast
Yield: 8 to 10 servings
Ingredients
- 1 (3 to 4 pound) pot roast
- 1 envelope Lipton's dry onion soup mix
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
Instructions
- Place 30 x 18 inch piece of heavy duty aluminum foil in a 13 x 9 inch glass or metal baking pan; place meat on foil.
- Sprinkle soup mix over top of roast and spread with cream of mushroom soup.
- Fold foil over meat and seal securely.
- Bake at 300 degrees F for 4 hours or at 350 degrees F for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
