Roast Beef Recipes
Peachy Cola Beef Roast
Ingredients
- 1 (5 to 6 pound) beef roast
- 1 (1.3 ounce) package dry onion soup
- 1 (4 ounce) jar peach or apricot jam
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 ounces cola soda
Instructions
- Place aluminum foil in a 6 quart roaster pan.
- Pour 1/2 can (6 ounces) cola in pan.
- Place roast in pan.
- Spread with jam.
- Sprinkle salt and pepper and onion soup mix over all.
- Drizzle remaining 6 ounces cola over roast.
- Cover lightly with foil and bake at 350 degrees F for 4 to 5 hours.
Notes
Leftovers may be sliced and put in juices to reheat.
