Peachy Cola Beef Roast

Ingredients

  • 1 (5 to 6 pound) beef roast
  • 1 (1.3 ounce) package dry onion soup
  • 1 (4 ounce) jar peach or apricot jam
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 ounces cola soda

Instructions

  1. Place aluminum foil in a 6 quart roaster pan.
  2. Pour 1/2 can (6 ounces) cola in pan.
  3. Place roast in pan.
  4. Spread with jam.
  5. Sprinkle salt and pepper and onion soup mix over all.
  6. Drizzle remaining 6 ounces cola over roast.
  7. Cover lightly with foil and bake at 350 degrees F for 4 to 5 hours.

Notes

Leftovers may be sliced and put in juices to reheat.
