Pot Roast

Ingredients

  • 1 (3 pound) beef roast
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 4 to 6 medium potatoes
  • 4 to 6 carrots
  • 4 to 6 celery sticks

Instructions

  1. Mix the two soups together and pour over roast.
  2. Cover and bake at 300 degrees F for 2 1/2 hours.
  3. Peel potatoes and carrots. Cut celery into 3 inch pieces. Place around meat.
  4. Cover and continue baking at 325 degrees F for 1 1/2 hours.
