Chicken Fried Steak with Mashed
Potatoes and White Gravy
Ingredients
- 6 cube steaks
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 3 tablespoons seasoned salt
- 3/4 tablespoon celery salt
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 4 to 5 eggs
Instructions
- Add the seasonings to the flour. Stir it all together.
- Crack the eggs in a separate dish and mix them together.
- Lay the steak in the flour and then dip it into the egg. Place it back in the flour.
- Repeat with the rest of the steaks.
- Lay the steak in hot oil. Let it cook for a couple of minutes at 350 degrees F.
- Repeat with the rest of the steaks.
- Plate the steak and serve with garlic mashed potatoes and gravy.
