Chicken in Orange Sauce

  • 1 whole fryer, cleaned
  • Salt
  • 1/4 cup melted margarine
  • 1/2 cup orange juice


  1. Lightly salt inside of fryer. Dry skin and rub with margarine. Place in roaster and cover tightly.
  2. Bake at 400 degrees F for 1 hour. Baste several times while baking with a mixture of melted margarine and orange juice.
  3. Remove cover last 15 minutes to brown.

Drippings make a delicious gravy.
