Sweet and Sauerkraut Chicken


  • 1 (14 ounce) can sauerkraut, drained
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds (optional)


  1. Drain sauerkraut and place in bottom of baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle sauerkraut with caraway seeds.
  3. Place chicken breasts on top of sauerkraut.
  4. Spread with barbecue sauce.
  5. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.
