Pretzel Battered Chicken


  • Chicken breast tenderloins
  • 1 large bag salted pretzels
  • 3 or 4 eggs


  1. In large frying pan over medium high heat add vegetable oil.
  2. Put pretzels into a large zip-top bag, then crush with the flat side of a mallet or roll with rolling pin until it begins to look like bread crumbs with pretzel pieces. Put crumbs into a medium-size bowl.
  3. Crack eggs into a medium-size bowl.
  4. When oil is hot, dip chicken into egg then into pretzel batter.
  5. Place in hot oil until light brown on both sides and done inside.
