Wessonality Fried Chicken



  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 pounds chicken pieces
  • 1 egg beaten with 2 tablespoons water
  • 3 cups Wesson Oil

  1. Combine flour, salt, paprika and pepper in a bag. Shake chicken pieces, a few at a time, in bag.
  2. Dip chicken into egg-water mixture. Shake in flour mixture again.
  3. Fry in a 12-inch skillet in Wesson Oil heated to 375 degrees F for 20 to 30 minutes, turning once.

Makes 6 servings.
