Chicken Adobe

Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken, cut up
  • Garlic
  • Peppercorns
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup vinegar
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Sticky rice

Instructions

  1. Place chicken into a large cooking pot. Simmer chicken with garlic and peppercorns for 12 to 13 minutes.
  2. Add soy sauce, water, vinegar and bay leaves. Simmer until chicken is tender.
  3. Serve with sticky rice.
