Apricot Ham Glaze

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (12 ounce) can apricot nectar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice


  1. Mix brown sugar, cornstarch, ginger and salt in a small saucepan.
  2. Stir in apricot nectar and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir for 1 minute.

Yield: about 1 1/2 cups
