Tangy Coconut Ham Glaze



  • 3/4 cup cream of coconut
  • 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch


  1. In a small saucepan, combine ingredients; bring to a boil. Cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes or until thickened.
  2. Use to glaze ham during last 30 minutes of baking.

Yield: about 3/4 cup, enough to glaze a 10- to 12-pound ham

Microwave: In a 2-cup glass measure, combine ingredients. Microwave on MEDIUM-HIGH for 4 to 6 minutes or until thickened, stirring every 2 minutes.

Let stand for 5 minutes.

Proceed as above.
