Tempeh Fajitas


  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1/2 cup tamari soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 (8 ounce) package tempeh, sliced
  • 1 package flour tortillas
  • 1 bottle salsa
  • 1 sliced bell pepper
  • Lettuce and tomato as desired


  1. In a small skillet, sauté garlic and onion in oil. Add soy sauce, cumin, sesame seeds and cilantro. Bring to a simmer. Cook for 3 minutes.
  2. Add tempeh and cook for 5 more minutes.
  3. Place tempeh in flour tortillas. Top with salsa and vegetables.
