Dutch Meat Loaf

Ingredients

Meat Loaf

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper
  • 10 to 15 soda crackers, crushed
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce

Sauce

  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (8 ounce) can water
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons mustard

Instructions

  1. Meat Loaf: Mix all ingredients; form into loaf.
  2. Sauce: Mix ingredients; pour over meat loaf.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Yield: 8 servings
