Filipino Meat Loaf


  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 medium potatoes, cooked and chopped
  • 1 sweet potato, cooked and chopped
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


  1. Mix beef, onion, eggs, potatoes, sweet potato and cornstarch.
  2. Place in casserole; shape into loaf.
  3. Pour ketchup over loaf; season with salt and pepper.
  4. Bake at 325 to 350 degrees F until done.
