Glazed Meat Loaf

Ingredients

Meat Loaf

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup tomato juice
  • 3/4 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • Dash of pepper

Topping

  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 2 slices bacon

Instructions

  1. Mix beef with eggs, tomato juice, oats, onion, salt and pepper. Shape into a loaf.
  2. Bake at 375 degrees F for 1 1/2 hours.
