Oriental Meat Loaf


  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts, thinly sliced
  • 4 scallions and tops, chopped
  • 3 bread slices, finely shredded
  • 1/4 cup Kikkoman Soy sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed


  1. Thoroughly combine all ingredients until blended.
  2. Lightly pack into 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour or until meat is thoroughly cooked.
  4. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing.

Yield: 4 to 6 servings
