Pork Chop Recipes
Topped Chops
Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients
- 4 (4 ounce, 3/4 inch thick) boneless pork chops
- Vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Chunky applesauce with cinnamon*
Instructions
- Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
- Brush chops lightly with oil, and brown on both sides, turning once, about 3 to 4 minutes.
- Sprinkle pepper over the chops; add broth, lemon juice, and chunky applesauce with cinnamon. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer gently for 5 minutes.
Notes
* In place of applesauce, you may use broccoli and cheese or salsa and cheese.
