Beef and Pork Rib Recipes
Sweet Lemon Spareribs
Yield: 6 servings
Ingredients
- 6 pounds pork spareribs, cut into serving pieces
- 1 (6 ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
- 3/4 cup bottled barbecue sauce (your favorite brand)
Instructions
- Place spareribs in Dutch oven with enough water to cover the ribs; heat to boiling. Reduce heat; cover ribs and simmer for 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
- Remove ribs to a 13 x 9 inch baking dish.
- Stir lemonade concentrate and barbecue sauce together. Pour over ribs; cover and refrigerate for about 8 hours.
- Place ribs bone side down in a shallow baking dish and bake at 375 degrees F for 45 minutes, basting often with barbecue sauce mixture.
