Dry Rub for Game
This dry rub will keep indefinitely, but will lose its potency over time.
- 3/4 cup paprika
- 1/4 cup ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup salt
- 1/4 cup dark
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons onion powder
- 1 tablespoon
- 1 tablespoon minced dried orange zest
- 10 to 12 juniper berries, crushed
in a mortar andpestle or spice mill
- 1/2 teaspoon ground
- Mix the spices thoroughly in a bowl.
- Store the rub in a tightly-sealed jar in the refrigerator.
