Taco-Flavor Crackers

  • 4 cups oyster crackers
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder


  1. Put crackers in 1 1/2 quart microwave safe casserole. Set aside.
  2. In a 1 cup microwave safe glass measure, mix butter and chili powder, and garlic powder. Micro cook uncovered on full power for 1 1/2 minutes or until margarine melts. Stir once.
  3. Pour over crackers. Toss well to coat evenly. Cook crackers uncovered on HIGH for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes or until hot. Stir twice.
  4. Cool. Crackers will crisp as they stand.
